ARTURO OBEGERO

Arturo Obegero was born into a bohemian surfing family in Tapia de Casariego, a fishing village in Asturias, northern Spain. He spent his childhood in this "melancholy and poetic" town, surrounded by nature, which inspired him and awakened his dreams of escape. His mother encouraged his interest in the performing arts, which nurtured his sensibility.

Obegero rigorously acquired skills, including pattern cutting, before enrolling in the prestigious central masters program, Saint Martins, London, where he developed his creative narrative.Stimulated by the world of performing arts, the surrealist and neo-noir movements, and Spanish culture. Arturo Obegero creates a romantic, seductive and sophisticated wardrobe for men and women.

Arturo Obegero launched AO in March 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic and presented his first collection on the official Paris Fashion week calendar in January 2021.
